PSFK Conference Asia Header

PSFK Conference Asia is a creative business event with speakers from companies that include MTV, NASA, and Panasonic; agencies that include Flamingo International, Mindshare, Profero and Wieden + Kennedy; and leading creative visionaries that include Jeff Staple and Mark Dytham.

Held in Singapore, this event will be PSFK's 6th conference following successful installments in London, Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco.

We aim to inspire an audience of creative thinkers to make things better.

CONFIRMED AGENDA

The day will consist of panel discussions and engaging presentations and our audience will be made up of senior professionals from the advertising, design, digital, entertainment, media and marketing industries. We will have 12 sessions during the day long conference. The agenda will include:

Make It With Us
Colin Nagy (Attention! (USA)) interviews Andrew Hoppin (NASA (USA)) and Mark Dytham (Klein-Dytham / Pecha-Kucha (Tokyo)) to discuss collaboration and how companies benefit from engaging their audience, staff, partners and the community.

The Accident
Jeff Staple, Founder and Creative Director of Staple Design and Reed Space, talks about his "accidental" career path. Jeff went from hand-silkscreening tee-shirts in school to heading a global design, consulting, apparel and retail operation in 11 years—On his own terms. He speaks to us about lessons learned and knowledge gained in the process.

China & Identity
Floydd Wood and Jerry Clode (Flamingo International) look at the specific ways Chinese youth are creatively re-working their identity - an emerging trend vital to those wanting to address this demographic on their own terms.

Look & Feel
Charles Ogilvie (Panasonic (China)), Creative Designer and Inventor of Red, the award winning In Flight Entertainment system for Virgin America, speaks about service innovation worldwide, new revenue models, and using airborne technology across asia and beyond.

How Creativity Liberates Business
Rob Campbell (Sunshine/M&C Saatchi)) explains how the greatest creativity creates fate rather than hopefully encourages something to happen; and how creativity is more cost effective than the common philosophies of formal R&D, distribution and brain-washing media spend.

Asian Youth Trends
Ian Stewart (MTV (Singapore)) leads a discussion where experts discuss trends within Asian youth culture and how they will impact every business around the world. Panel includes Achara Masoodi (Mindshare (Singapore)), Michael Keferl (CScout (Tokyo)) and Sonal Dabral (Bates 141 (Singapore)).

Singapore Snapshot
What makes Singapore tick? Graham Perkins (Elasticity (Singapore)) moderates a panel of passionate local creative minds to discuss what aspects of Singapore culture inspire them the most. Panel includes Chris Lee (Asylum (Singapore)) and Jackson Tan (Phunk Studio)).

Make Things Better
What watching trends told Piers Fawkes (PSFK (USA)): a dynamic relationship between Creators, the Community and new-era Companies is driving change in a way last century corporations will never create. How are these three groups working with each other - and how do we inspire the 3Cs to make things better?

Digital Mainstream
Daryl Arnold (Profero (Tokyo)) explains what the billions of mainstream people are doing everyday on the net, explains what the secret is behind selling normal stuff to ordinary people, offers digital experiences for cornflake eaters from around the globe and prove that mainstream really isn't a dirty word.
